Hyundai Award for Selwood

01.03.2002

Plant and Pump Sales and Hire company Selwood has been named as Hyundai's best new distributor for 2001.

Selwood was appointed the Hyundai distributor for Hampshire, Dorset, South Wiltshire, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight last February when the company decided it needed to complement its existing smaller range with a greater range of large excavators. Since then Selwood has sold in excess of 30 machines ranging from 5½ to 21 tons.

On a recent visit to Selwood's head office at Chandler's Ford, Hyundai's Monda Reyniers from its office in Brussels, and UK Regional Manager Karl Kirkpatrick, presented a special plaque to Sales Manager, John Knight,(left), who received the award on behalf of Selwood.

About Selwood

Selwood is one of the largest privately owned companies serving the UK construction and allied industries. It is recognised today as one of the leading plant and pump hire companies in the country, operating from a nation-wide branch network. Selwood is also the only UK company that manufactures, hires and sells a full range of pumps, 60% of which are sold through a world wide distributor network.

Selwood is one of the few companies within the UK plant and pump industry that holds full accreditation to ISO 9001. This accreditation encompasses all locations in striving for a safe, efficient working environment.
