Godwin Pumps Implements Asset, Logistic and Transportation Manager Position
Godwin Pumps, worldwide manufacturer and supplier of the Dri-Prime automatic self-priming pump, announces the addition of Bill Price to the newly-created position of Asset, Logistic, and Transportation Manager.
Bill Price
Based in Godwin’s Bridgeport (NJ) world headquarters, Price will coordinate equipment relocation, including branch-to-branch equipment transfers. In addition to equipment transportation duties, Price will facilitate the utilization of Godwin’s newly-implemented enterprise software in all facets of dispatch and freight.
Price has twenty years’ experience in an array of industries, including working as Transportation Services Director, Operations Manager, and Vice President of Operations. Price’s experience in the field includes creating and executing delivery logistics from several distribution centers throughout the US, establishing computer modules to support delivery programs, and conducting the hiring and training of transportation personnel. Price also has knowledge of fiscal and strategic functions involved in the startup of new transportation departments.
