Flygt to Distribute Allweiler Products in UK and Ireland

13.07.2004

Allweiler Pumps Ltd and ITT Flygt Ltd have signed an exclusive distribution agreement, whereby Flygt will distribute all Allweiler products throughout the UK and Ireland over the next five years.

Allweiler Pumps is a wholly owned subsidiary of German-based Allweiler AG, part of the Colfax Pump Group. Both Allweiler and Flygt offer a range of complementary pump products to customers within the industrial market in sectors including power generation, water & wastewater, chemical processing, building, food & beverage, tool machinery, pulp & paper and heat transfer.

Flygt’s managing director, said, “This marks a new, positive phase for both Allweiler and ITT Flygt to achieve future growth and greater market share. Allweiler branded products will continue to be sold in the UK through the existing, highly experienced team, so for customers it will be business as usual, but with the added benefits of being able to buy an even wider portfolio of products from one supplier.”

The agreement means the Allweiler team and its offices in Poole, Dorset have now become part of ITT Flygt’s Industrial Division, since the agreement became effective earlier this year.
