Ebara Received an Order for Large Water Pump Expansion Project in Las Vegas

1.Background
Las Vegas, a tourist city, is located in a desert area with little precipitation. This large city supports its sizable population with water supplied primarily from Lake Mead, created by the Hoover Dam, which stores water from the Colorado River and other sources. Additional pumps are needed in two existing pumping stations to increase operational flexibility and accommodate demand in the northern portion of the Las Vegas Valley.
2. Overview
EBARA delivered 12 large pumps to SNWA's Lamb Pump Station and Sloan Pump Station about 20 years ago. The new large pumps will be added to each of the pumping stations.
