The meeting was part of a series of visits by DCED administration to Japanese companies, facilities, and embassies seeking to hear best practices and business with regard to hydrogen hub infrastructure in Pennsylvania.
EBARA was selected for the visit because Elliott Company, which is a core operating company under Ebara’s energy company that is branded as Ebara Elliott Energy, maintains its headquarters and flagship manufacturing plant in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, and is actively involved in local employment and capital investment.
At the beginning of the day, Ebara CEO & COO Masao Asami gave an overview of the company’s business and introduced its long-term vision, E-Vision 2030. The president of the Energy Company Takanobu Miyaki explained Ebara’s energy segment business, and Teruaki Tsukamoto, Corporate Project General Manager of Ebara’s Hydrogenrelated strategic business unit, explained the hydrogen infrastructure-related business and Ebara’s contribution to two hydrogen hubs in Pennsylvania.
The meeting was followed by an exchange of views on infrastructure investment and employment conditions in Pennsylvania. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share perspectives on issues and prospects for future business opportunities through collaboration.
The EBARA Group aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing material issues identified in its long-term vision and executing the medium-term management plan to increase corporate value.
