EBARA Launches Model DKE High-Efficiency Anti-Clog Submersible Wastewater Pump

02.10.2025
EBARA CORPORATION has launched the new model DKE anti-clog submersible wastewater pump (hereafter “the Pump”) for global markets outside Japan (50 Hz power supply regions), with sales starting in August 2025. The Pump features an anti-clog design that prevents foreign matter from blocking the impeller and helps realize high operating efficiency. Following initial release in the United States in 2023, the sales are now being expanded to Europe, China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions.

1. Background and Objectives

Submersible wastewater pumps are essential in sewage treatment plants and are deployed in the basements of buildings, condominiums, and factories. Wastewater often contains various types of foreign matter, so clogging inside the pump can cause operational stoppages leading to costly maintenance, posing a significant challenge for facility managers. The model DKE combines an anti-clog design with advanced foreign matter passage capability, reducing maintenance requirements and improving operating efficiency.

2. Product Overview

The Pump key features are anti-clog capability and high-efficiency operation. A newly developed impeller with an anti-clog design minimizes clogging inside the pump, reducing maintenance costs associated with disassembly and inspection. In addition, the use of IE3 motors enables up to 15% reduction in power consumption compared to conventional models, helping reduce running costs.

Discharge: 65 to 300 mm
Motor power: 1.5 to 45 kW (three-phase)
Performance Capacity: 0.07 to13 m³/min Head: 4 to 44 m

3. Future Outlook

EBARA plans to expand the model DKE release to the Japanese market and 60 Hz regions worldwide. In line with the company’s long-term vision E-Vision 2030 and the slogan “Technology. Passion. Support Our Globe,” this product not only contributes to resolving customer challenges but also helps reduce environmental impact through energy-efficient operation.
