Christian S. Na to join Xylem Inc. As General Counsel

Xylem Inc. announced the appointment of Christian S. Na as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective December 3.

He will report directly to Gretchen McClain, President and Chief Executive Officer of Xylem, and his nomination to become a corporate officer of Xylem will be presented to the company s board of directors on December 13, 2012.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Christian to our leadership team,” said McClain. “His diverse legal experience in several global industrial companies has given him a broad background that aligns nicely with our business, and we look forward to his contributions.”

Since 2010, Na, 41, has served as Deputy General Counsel of CIRCOR International, Inc., a global manufacturer specializing in highly engineered industrial products, where he has managed the day-to-day legal affairs of the company and its subsidiaries worldwide. From 2007 to 2010, Na was Group Vice President & General Counsel at Danaher’s Product Identification Division. Prior to that, he was General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, U.S., Asia-Pacific & Latin America, for Mitel Networks, Inc., during which time he also served as part-time Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs. Earlier in his career he worked at national law firms in Washington, D.C. and started his career as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Boston University, and his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law.

He succeeds Frank Jimenez, who left the company earlier this year.
