Biomass Thermal Energy Council Becomes Newest AHR Expo Endorsing Organization
The Biomass Thermal Energy Council (BTEC), the national non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the use of biomass for heat and other thermal energy applications, has become the 36th industry organization to endorse AHR Expo.
“The AHR Expo is an ideal place for BTEC to discuss net zero, green heating solutions with engineers and architects”, said Joseph Seymour, Executive Director of BTEC. “We are excited to introduce this renewable pathway to this key audience”. BTEC focuses on the utilization of biomass thermal energy as an energy-efficient, responsible and renewable method of meeting the nation’s rising energy demands. Its members include biomass fuel producers, appliance manufacturers and distributors, supply chain companies as well as non-profit organizations who engage in research, education and public advocacy for the growing industry.
“We are delighted to welcome BTEC as our newest Endorsing Organization,” said Clay Stevens, President of International Exposition Company, which produces and manages the AHR Expo. “Biomass Thermal Energy serves as a valuable resource for a growing segment of our industry, and it is our mission to serve all segments of the HVACR marketplace.”
Stevens said BTEC will have a booth (#5209) at the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas, January 28-30, where members will be available to answer questions and share information about biomass thermal energy.
The 2013 AHR Expo is co-sponsored by ASHRAE and the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). The Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is an honorary sponsor. ASHRAE’s Winter Conference is held concurrently with the AHR Expo each year.
