From almost 11,000 submissions from 56 countries, only the 75 most outstanding design achievements were honored with Gold. Never before has this honor been as exclusive and valuable as this year!

ProMinent’s new modular bypass armature for sensors in water treatment BAMa won over the 133-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its innovative design, its easy handling without tools and its ability to minimise water consumption. The winning BAMa won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2023 Gold in the discipline “Product”, in the “Industry / Tools” category. The jury released the following statement regarding its decision to issue BAMa the Gold award:

"ProMinent’s Sensor Bypass Armature is beguilingly simple and simply effective. Accommodating a range of sensors for water treatment, the design language offers clear signposts to the different sensor functions, enabling flexible modular application.“

Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, bestows the iF DESIGN AWARD on the best submissions.

ProMinent developed the bypass fitting together with the design office Squareone.
