Goulds Awards Marketing and Sales Professionals

Customer Service Center Manager Jeff Barrow, Marketing Development Manager Randy Cracknell, and Territory Sales Manager Terry Jordan at the company’s annual sales and marketing meeting December 12th in Las Vegas.

Now in its 21st year, the Golden Eagle is given to individuals who’ve been with the company for at least a decade and whose sales or customer service accomplishments have consistently exceeded expectations over that time.

“The recipients have a combined 56 years of experience with Goulds Pumps,” said Dennis Coggins, Vice President of Sales – himself a 1988 Golden Eagle award winner. “Over the years each has found imaginative ways to collaborate with others so that collectively we continue to grow stronger as a company and an industry,” Coggins said.

This past year, Jeff Barrow personally coordinated efforts with regional and territory managers out of the Fresno, CA Customer Service Center, where shipments were up significantly over the previous year. Barrow has managed the Fresno Customer Service Center since 1994. He joined the company in 1981.

Working closely with personnel at ITT Industries subsidiary Flowtronex, Randy Cracknell was able to secure preferred vendor status for several Goulds Pumps products at American Water Company and other national water distribution companies. Cracknell joined the company in 1991 as a Territory Sales Representative and was promoted to his current position in January, 2004.

Terry Jordan hosted numerous distributor training workshops and directed efforts to get distributors to increase their pump sales and product inventories on his way to achieving nearly 107% of his 2004 sales objective. Jordan joined the company in 1986 and has been a Senior Sales Territory Manager since 2000.
