At dy-pack, suction cups mounted on small robotic arms grip the sides of each sack blank, lift it from the stack and position it for the next process step. Together with environmental services provider PreZero and Enagás Renovable, WELTEC BIOPOWER began construction of a biomethane plant north of Madrid in August 2026. Once operational, the plant in Colmenar Viejo will generate up to 60 gigawatt-hours of green energy annually, equivalent to the energy requirements of approximately 11,700 households or 30,000 residents.
