Valmet is extending its versatile butterfly valve product range with Neles Q-Disc, a new high-performance feature to help flow balancing in control valve applications.

For many years, the semiconductor industry has been successfully using diaphragm valves from the GEMÜ CleanStar series all over the world. GEMÜ customers appreciate the advantages of the design and the multitude of possible applications due to the sophisticated graduation of actuator sizes 1 to 3. Now, the valve specialist is expanding its GEMÜ CleanStar family with actuator size 4, and thus setting standards in terms of footprint and flow.

Cowan Dynamics continues to advance valve automation with the release of the E2H-ESD. The E2H-ESD actuator is the newest addition to their electro-hydraulic actuator lineup and is designed specifically for Emergency Shutoff Valve (ESD) automation.

Warren Controls highlights its 1800N series heavy-duty globe valves. These valves can be supplied in conformance with a variety of MIL-V-18030 service applications, including high pressure differentials, corrosive materials, liquids, gasses, steam, and seawater.

Through the further development of the existing series 492, pressures up to 1,500 bar are ensured in the DN6 version. In doing so, the GOETZE safety valve is only half as heavy and half the size as comparable valves. It is just this compact design that simplifies the integration of the valve where there is restricted installation space.

Drain valves comprise up to 20% of all valves in a typical processing plant. But cleaning them is costly, difficult, and time-consuming due to long cleaning cycles and the risk of pressure shocks. The new Alfa Laval ThinkTop pulse seat clean addresses all these issues, quickly and effectively making drain valves spotless while delivering savings of up to 95% in Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) liquid.

Warren Controls announces the 1852N Seawater Deballasting Valve, ideal for deballasting seawater from welldecks. The 8-inch size 1852N model is used by the US Navy on its LHA, LHD, and LPD class amphibious assault ships, which have welldecks that require seawater to be rapidly raised and lowered.

The valve specialist GEMÜ is expanding its valve selection for the GEMÜ eSyLite motorized actuator with three further valve types. With the larger selection of electrical valves, plant engineers and operators find a tailor-made solution even more easily.

Valve manufacturer GEMÜ is expanding its product range for automation components in the processing industry. The new electrical position indicators GEMÜ 1240, 1241 and 1242 and the combi switchboxes GEMÜ 4240, 4241 and 4242 will ensure reliable recording of valve end positions and form the basis for successful process automation – even in potentially explosive areas.

With the new BOA-Control SBV, Frankenthal-based KSB SE & Co. KGaA is expanding its static balancing valves range by now also offering a series with female threaded ends (ISO 228) – in addition to its type series with flanged ends. The valves are employed in applications like hot-water heating systems and air-conditioning/cooling systems with water/glycol mixtures having a glycol content of up to 50 percent.
