A new shut-off valve for pipelines has been tailored by WIKA for applications in the process industry. The model PBV-FS with flange connection is suitable for controlling media flow, for the combination with pressure measuring instruments and as a connection between piping systems.

Warren Controls announces the Series 2900 industrial control valves, ideal for food and beverage, packaged water heaters, pharmaceutical, and general service applications, as well as wastewater applications with moderate pressure drops and temperatures from -20º to 400ºF.

Valves installed in drinking water transport systems have to meet stringent demands, both in terms of design and materials employed. To satisfy these requirements the KSB Group’s SISTO Armaturen S.A. in Luxemburg has launched its SISTO-16RGAMaXX diaphragm valve type series, featuring threaded sockets, a stainless steel body and a special drinking water diaphragm.

For many years, the semiconductor industry has been successfully using diaphragm valves from the GEMÜ CleanStar series all over the world. GEMÜ customers appreciate the advantages of the design and the multitude of possible applications due to the sophisticated graduation of actuator sizes 1 to 3. Now, the valve specialist is expanding its GEMÜ CleanStar family with actuator size 4, and thus setting standards in terms of footprint and flow.

Cowan Dynamics continues to advance valve automation with the release of the E2H-ESD. The E2H-ESD actuator is the newest addition to their electro-hydraulic actuator lineup and is designed specifically for Emergency Shutoff Valve (ESD) automation.

Warren Controls highlights its 1800N series heavy-duty globe valves. These valves can be supplied in conformance with a variety of MIL-V-18030 service applications, including high pressure differentials, corrosive materials, liquids, gasses, steam, and seawater.

Through the further development of the existing series 492, pressures up to 1,500 bar are ensured in the DN6 version. In doing so, the GOETZE safety valve is only half as heavy and half the size as comparable valves. It is just this compact design that simplifies the integration of the valve where there is restricted installation space.

Drain valves comprise up to 20% of all valves in a typical processing plant. But cleaning them is costly, difficult, and time-consuming due to long cleaning cycles and the risk of pressure shocks. The new Alfa Laval ThinkTop pulse seat clean addresses all these issues, quickly and effectively making drain valves spotless while delivering savings of up to 95% in Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) liquid.

Warren Controls announces the 1852N Seawater Deballasting Valve, ideal for deballasting seawater from welldecks. The 8-inch size 1852N model is used by the US Navy on its LHA, LHD, and LPD class amphibious assault ships, which have welldecks that require seawater to be rapidly raised and lowered.
