Sulzer offers modular pump solutions with built-in intelligence. The XJ 110, XJC 110 and XJS 110 pumps are the latest additions to this range. Instead of a built-in contactor, an optional AquaTronic unit can be used. The AquaTronic unit compensates for incorrect phase order and this ensures correct motor rotation.

Based on the Alfa Laval LKH pump range, is an efficient, versatile and hygienic self-priming pump. It uses a combination of air-screw technology and advanced design to meet the most stringent requirements in a range of hygienic industries including food, dairy, beverage and home-personal care. LKH Prime UltraPure versions are ideal for pharmaceutical applications.

Using canned motor technology for submersible pumps provides significant advantages. A short shaft, only two slide bearings – independent from the immersion depth – and various monitoring functions not only ensure high reliability but also mean cost advantages for the operator. Since it is supplied as a lock pump, easy servicing is guaranteed at the same time.

The Chemineer RL-3™ impeller is designed to prevent fibrous material build-up on the rotating impeller of agitators. In blending and solids suspension applications where the fluid contains fibrous material, typically found in the wastewater treatment industry, the resulting build up on the agitator’s impeller can deteriorate performance, increase energy costs and even damage the gearbox bearings and gears causing costly repair.

Whether a pump is running in its optimum operating range is difficult to judge from the outside. Although vibrations or unusual noise levels are an indicator for irregularities, for a long time we did not know exactly what was happening inside a pump.

Typical applications cover the areas of lubrication of gears, compressors, high-pressure pumps as well as the bed lubrication of milling machines. Further areas of application include low pressure hydraulic systems and the transfer of oils and fuel.

The high efficiency of this new pump series and the wide operational range in relation to the nominal capacity of 300 m³/h result in a massive energy saving.
