The Hydraulic Institute (HI), the global authority on pumps and pumping systems, announced the 2014-2015 Board of Directors and Officers during its Annual meeting recently held in Phoenix, Arizona.

Grundfos has found its new CFO. It will be 45-year old Mikael Geday, who has previously worked as CFO in DONG Energy and Rockwool International.

The Board of Directors of Franklin Electric announced that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer R. Scott Trumbull will retire as Chief Executive Officer effective May 2, 2014 and that Gregg C. Sengstack has been appointed to succeed him in that role. Mr. Trumbull will remain non-executive chairman of Franklin Electric.

Pump Solutions Group is pleased to announce that Carrie Halle has been appointed Director of Marketing, Americas. In this position, Halle will report directly to Walter Bonnett, Vice President of Global Marketing for PSG.

The Board of Directors of Georg Fischer Ltd will propose Hubert Achermann, Lucerne (Switzerland), for election as a new member of the Board at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on 19 March, 2014. He will replace Kurt E. Stirnemann, who is reaching the retirement age for Board members.

Wayne Rose has been promoted by Armstrong Fluid Technology to the position of Global Marketing Manager – Pumps. In his new role he assumes responsibility for the marketing of the Armstrong portfolio of pumps, Suction Guides and Flo-Trex valves on a worldwide basis, with particular emphasis on the company’s Design Envelope pump models.

Pump Solutions Group is pleased to announce that Karl Buscher has been named to the newly created position of President of PSG Americas. In his new role, Buscher will assume all commercial and operational responsibilities for PSG’s operations in the Americas region, and will report directly to PSG President Dean Douglas.

Crane Co. announced that Max H. Mitchell was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crane.

Pump Solutions Group is pleased to announce that Ueli Thuerig, who was previously named President of PSG Europe in June 2013, has been named to the newly created position of President of PSG EMEA.

After over 30 years of dedicated service Herman Schutte will no longer be employed by Parker Hannifin Netherlands by the end of May 2014. For almost 11 years now, Herman has been the General Manager of Sales Company Netherlands and under his guidance and leadership the Sales Company has grown from 80 to almost 200 employees and sales have three folded.
