Over the years, Hannover Messe has evolved to include an ever-broadening range of products and companies. Despite the wide range of technologies on display, an emphasis on energy efficiency and flexibility emerged as the central theme of the 2023 show.

Pumping systems are responsible for over 20% of the world’s electrical energy demand, and in some industrial plant operations, they can account for up to 90% of energy usage. Improving the energy efficiency of pumping and mixing systems is crucial in reducing production costs and supporting a more sustainable future.

ProMinent has now had all its low pressure metering pumps certified for food contact under Regulation (EC) 1935/2004. The company can therefore provide solutions for applications in which materials and objects come into direct contact with foodstuffs.

Small dispensing errors cause large variations in battery performance. Hermetic, high-precision dosing pumps are needed for this application. Filling electrolytes into battery cells is a critical step in battery manufacturing. Factors such as electrolyte formulation, pressure and temperature must be considered in the filling process.
