Compressor specialist Bitzer has published a new update of its service software, the Bitzer Electronics Service Tool (Best). Best software provides users with a comprehensive overview of the operating status, configuration and troubleshooting of Bitzer compressors, frequency inverters and condensing units.

The Bitzer SPOT App enables users to verify the authenticity of their Bitzer products. Additionally, the Bitzer SPOT App contains extensive documentation and a directory of all Bitzer and Green Point service points as well as all certified dealers.

Electric actuator manufacturer AUMA has released version 2.0 of the Auma Assistant App. The app allows fast and easy configuration and diagnostics of Auma actuators from a smartphone or tablet. All the actuator’s operating parameters can be set via the app, saving considerable time and cost during commissioning.

VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE has extended its Spaix 5 product family by a compact version for pump selection and performance curve optimization. The company decided to transfer the proven multi-platform concept to Quick&Easy that means that besides the desktop version, the software is also available as web and mobile version. Spaix 5 Quick&Easy is especially suitable for small and medium-sized companies which are focusing on performance curve management and pump selection. Pump configuration options as well as proposal management were intentionally omitted.

Xylem congratulates Caleb Liow Jia Le and Johnny Xiao Hong Yu of Singapore, the winners of the 2018 Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP), the most prestigious international student competition for water-related research.
