The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has entered a Training Partner Agreement with LEWA-Nikkiso America, Inc., a globally leading manufacturer of diaphragm metering and process diaphragm pumps as well as complete metering systems for process technology.

Messe München is expanding its international trade fair network in the environmental technology sector with an additional event in South Africa: The “IFAT Environmental Technology Forum – Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling – Solutions for the Mining and Construction Industry” will take place for the first time from September 15 to 18, 2015 co-located with BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA. The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has announced the date of the Fundamentals of Rotodynamic Centrifugal Pumps webinar. The August 28, 2014 session will begin at 1:00pm EDT and will be led by David Stover, Americas Turbine MDM, Applied Water Systems, Xylem, Inc.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) 2014 Fall Meeting will take place October 8-10, 2014, at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri. Registration is now open to HI Members, Associate Members, Standards Partners, and Utilities & Energy Efficiency NGOs who are sponsors of Pump Systems Matter. Eligible prospective members are welcome to attend with advance approval.

As last year, IFAT India will in 2014 again be supporting the Indo-German Environment Partnership (IGEP) of the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and, on October 9, hosting the award ceremony for the “All India Environmental Journalism Competition”. The “Clean Ganga Award”, a special prize for reporting on the rejuvenation of the Ganges, will be presented by Michael Steiner, the German Ambassador in India.

Submissions for the 2015 AHR Expo Innovation Awards Competition are being accepted now through September 8th.
