Baker Hughes Incorporated announced results for the first quarter of 2015.

Pentair announced first quarter 2015 sales of $1.5 billion. Sales were down 10 percent compared to sales for the same period last year. First quarter 2015 earnings per diluted share from continuing operations (“EPS”) were $0.65, down 8 percent from adjusted EPS of $0.71 in the first quarter of last year. Adjusted EPS, adjusted operating income, and segment income exclude redomicile-related expenses and restructuring costs.

National Oilwell Varco announced that Jeremy D. Thigpen has informed the Company of his resignation as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, in order to become Chief Executive Officer of Transocean, one of NOV’s largest customers. Scott K. Duff, NOV’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer has been named as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

In the first quarter of 2015, Sulzer received orders of CHF 800.5 million, which is a nominal decrease of 3.4%. Currency-adjusted order intake decreased by 0.6% compared with the first quarter of 2014.
