Amarinth has delivered $1.2M of API 610 overhung high pressure, high flow, low-shear duplex pumps to Fjords Processing for produced water treatment duties aboard the FPSO Catcher which is currently being assembled in Singapore and destined for the Premier Oil operated Catcher field in the UK North Sea.

Voith Hydro Canada has received a 470 million Canadian Dollar (CAD) turbine and generator contract from energy supplier and future plant operator BC Hydro. The contract is for the design, supply, and installation of six vertical axis, Francis-style turbines, six generators and associated equipment, and covers work to be completed at the Site C Clean Energy Project (Site C) on the Peace River in northeast British Columbia (BC).

In view of the ongoing debate about a new feed-in tariff (FIT) system, the development of renewable energies in the UK is becoming ever more challenging. Thus, most anaerobic digestion plants are currently implemented by experienced companies. After all, quick planning and construction are a must in order to benefit from the calculated FIT. Against this backdrop, the plant manufacturer Weltec Biopower UK Ltd. from Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, has reported the placement of orders for two new agricultural biogas plant projects in England and Northern Ireland.

Xylem has won a major contract valued at more than $8 million USD to develop and supply customized technologies to a wastewater treatment and reclamation plant in Sulaibiya, Kuwait. Following a plant expansion currently underway, it will be one of the largest water reclamation facilities of its kind in the world.
