Pentair Engineering Senior Director Arnold (Arnie) Sdano was recently honored by the Hydraulic Institute with its 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award. With a career spanning more than four decades, including the past 24 years with Pentair, Sdano continues to be a pioneer in the industry through his leadership, engineering expertise and volunteerism.

The German manufacturer of canned motor pumps has been admitted to the coveted World Market Leader Index of the University of St. Gallen, as reported by the magazine WirtschaftsWoche at the end of January. Among the selected businesses were 450 companies that succeeded in becoming number one in their specific sector. Hermetic is listed as the 2018 Global Market Leader Champion in the ‟hermetically sealed centrifugal pumps (canned motor pumps)” sector.

Following another lengthy Judging Session at the offices of the BPMA on 31st January, the Finalists in the 2019 Pump Industry Awards have been determined.

The Ingelfingen-based specialist in valves has been awarded the title of “Global Market Leader” for yet another year, earning the distinction for 2018 as part of the global market leader index of the University of St. Gallen and the Academy of German Global Market Leaders.

The Winners of the 2018 AEMT Awards were announced during a Gala Presentation Ceremony in Coventry on Thursday 29th November. Attended by over 180 people from across the electrical and mechanical trades arena, the evening once again proved to be a wonderful evening of reward and celebration.

Sulzer’s Blue Box IoT Advanced Analytics has won the Gold Certificate Industry 4.0 at the Swiss Digital Economy Awards in the category Highest Digital Quality. BLUE BOX uses existing pump data to cut costs in pump operation and maintenance considerably.

Verder has been elected by Management Team as the number 1 in the Dutch top-100 manufacturing industry. The first edition of the top-100 was published in 2013. At that time Verder ranked at number 3. In the years that followed, Verder was always in the top 4.

For the past eighteen years, the Pump Industry Awards has been recognising the best performing companies, products and people for their achievements, developments and positive contributions within this important industry sector.

Show Management today announced the winners of the 2019 AHR Expo Innovation Awards competition. Each year, products in 10 different categories are recognized for being some of the HVACR industry’s most innovative products, systems and technologies. Winners will be featured at the Show in Atlanta in January 2019.
