Sulzer has acquired Brithinee Electric of Colton, California. Through this acquisition, Sulzer expands its electromechanical services business into Southern California and gains access to the Californian wind, cement and water markets with established offerings and customers.

Metso has successfully completed its acquisition of the valve automation division of India based Rotex Manufacturers and Engineers Private Limited (RMEPL), by acquiring all of the shares in RMEBS Controls Private Limited (RMEBS).

The technology group Wärtsilä has divested its pumps business to Solix Group, a Scandinavian investment company with offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden. Wärtsilä Pumps has belonged to the Wärtsilä Marine Solutions organisation and became part of the company along with the acquisition of Hamworthy in 2012. The Wärtsilä Pumps business recorded sales of approximately 50 MEUR in 2017.

AxFlow Limited has announced the friendly acquisition of Crest Process Engineering Limited, Radstock as of the 1st October 2018. The ‘Crestpro’ business will now be known as AxFlow- Radstock and will continue trading from its current location.

GEA successfully concluded the sale of its GEA Westfalia Separator Production France SAS entity, i.e. its French standard separators production facility and the respective real estate in Château-Thierry (Hauts-de-France region) to the French industrial group Altifort as planned.

Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has acquired Reno A/S, a manufacturer and distributor of compressed air solutions. The company has a large equipment distribution and aftermarket network, and operates in several segments of the compressed air business.

Franklin Electric announced that it has acquired Industrias Rotor Pump headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Industrias Rotor Pump imports, manufactures, assembles, and distributes a large variety of water pumping equipment for sale to distributors and other resellers in the Argentine market place.

Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems is pleased to announce that the swiss-based engineering company NSB Gas Processing is now part of the global Busch group. The NSB Gas Processing business has been renamed Busch NSB and brings a highly regarded team of engineers and a portfolio of liquid ring vacuum pumps, compressors and systems to the Busch group.
