His duties as Sales Region Manager D-A-CH will be taken over by Carsten Krumm, formerly head of the Water Management market segment at Wilo. As a Senior Vice President, Krumm will be responsible for sales and marketing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Both managers have already been working for Wilo for many years.

Peter Stamm, who as Sales Region Manager D-A-CH and Key Account Manager was in the past the main contact for important Wilo Group customers and who remains an active board member of the GWP (German Water Partnership), will in future work to accelerate development of international and global business and to intensify networking in the political arena and in organisations and associations relevant to Wilo. Stamm is a board member of the DWA (German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste) and represents Wilo as a project partner at dena (German Energy Agency). The 61-year-old industry veteran is also a member of the governing body of geea (Alliance for Building Energy Efficiency). Stamm s current countries of focus are Egypt, Jordan, China and Turkey. In addition, he has a guiding role in internationally oriented German initiatives which emphasise energy efficiency “made in Germany”.

Carsten Krumm, head of the Water Management market segment for the past two years, takes over responsibility for D-A-CH as Senior Vice President.

Like Peter Stamm, the 46-year-old manager has extensive experience at Wilo. For 20 years he has contributed to the success of the Dortmund company in various managerial positions. Krumm played a crucial part in the successful integration of the EMU Group into Wilo and has advanced the development of a worldwide strategy in the Water Management market segment. Due to his great expertise, Carsten Krumm will continue as head of Water Management alongside his new role as Sales Region Manager D-A-CH, as the Water Management segment has special significance in achieving the strategic objectives of the Wilo Group.

With these personnel changes, Wilo is demonstrating a clear commitment to the global reinforcement of corporate policy as well as the utilisation of “in-house expertise” and know-how for future market development.

By establishing the function of Corporate Affairs Officer, Wilo is also responding to the challenges of increasingly globalised markets, now and in the future.
