Sulzer Expands Top Employer 2025 Network to Nine Countries

Sulzer adds South Africa, Ireland and Finland to its group of Top Employer countries in 2025, also gaining recertification for Brazil, China, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the USA. With these new country awards, Sulzer is recognized for the first time as a regional Top Employer in Europe.

The Top Employers Institute uses surveys and independent audits to factually measure the performance of applicant companies against the highest international standards in several categories.

Designed to reward high employer standards, the Top Employers Institute audits and rates applicant companies in HR disciplines in 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Wellbeing, Sustainability and more. 2025 marks Sulzer’s fourth consecutive year in the Institute’s certification program. The company successfully expanded its network of designated Top Employer countries each year, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to excellent HR policies and people practices.

Sulzer Molten Salt Pumps Improve Efficiency of Highview Power’s New Long Duration Energy Storage Facility

Sulzer has signed an agreement with Highview Power to deliver eight molten salt pumps, five cryopumps and a selection of auxiliary services. The deal represents an engineering-led collaboration that will help unlock long-duration energy storage at Highview Power’s new facility at Carrington, Manchester, and at other future facilities across the UK. The Carrington project will be the first to deliver commercial-scale liquid air energy storage in the UK.
