Spaix 4 Pumps Passes Compatibility Test for Windows 8

VSX – Vogel Software confirms the smooth operation of new Spaix 4 desktop applications with the latest operating system of Microsoft.

The recently launched Spaix 4 applications have passed the compatibility test for Windows 8. Spaix 4 Pumps is a high-performance application for the computer-supported selection and configuration of centrifugal pumps. In addition, the software provides valuable support throughout the entire sales process.

VSX customers are able to use Spaix 4 Pumps without any problems after changing their operating system to Windows 8.1. Moreover, an uncomplicated installation of Spaix 4 applications is guaranteed. This also includes all Spaix add-ons.

Within the scope of the Microsoft Partner Program VSX already developed several software solutions based on innovative Microsoft technologies. Afterwards they were successfully implemented at client companies. The general compatibility of the programs with latest IT technologies like the Windows operating systems, browsers etc are essential for the German-based company. Thus, VSX guarantees the long-term protection of customer’s investments. “We always try to provide the best possible service to our clients”, underlines Jens-Uwe Vogel, Managing Director of VSX - Vogel Software GmbH. “This still includes the reliability and trouble-free operation of our software products. For this reason it was a matter of course to participate in the compatibility test recommended by Microsoft.”

Besides the gained competence for the compatibility of Spaix 4 desktop solutions with Windows 8 the company also proved the competence for Hosting within the Microsoft Partner Program. In order to gain this competence the IT specialists had to demonstrate their knowledge about the latest technologies in several examinations. For many years, VSX is providing comprehensive Internet services for the web version of the pump selection program. Within the scope of the Hosting Service customers have the possibility to operate their selection program on VSX high-speed servers. Besides the installation of the main program as well as all additionally acquired features and their upgrades VSX organizes the complete system administration including IT safety and permanent accessibility of the website. This also includes the provision of all necessary Microsoft software licenses for the servers. Thus, customers have only one contact person for software, hardware and infrastructure which are part of the service package around the Spaix software application.
