Our global technology centers ensure a close innovation partnership with our customers, no matter where they are.”
Methodology of Ranking
The Forbes ranking "The most innovative companies in the world" is determined on the basis of a scientifically defined innovation value. The so-called "innovation premium" measures how much investors have pushed a company's share price above its current value based on expectations of future innovative outcomes (new products, services and markets).
The companies evaluated must have a market capitalization of USD 10 billion, spend at least one percent of their assets on research and development and have public data for more than seven years.
The data used comes from HOLT ValueSearch, a consultancy for corporate performance and valuation of Credit Suisse. The calculations and analyzes are by Dr. Michael J. McConnell, former Head of Research at Credit Suisse HOLT.
