PSG Opens New Sales Office in Shanghai

08.04.2013

Pump Solutions Group is further exhibiting its commitment to the growing Chinese and Asia-Pacific industrial-pump markets with the opening of a new PSG Shanghai Commercial Sales Office in Shanghai, China.

This office will be a cornerstone of PSG’s sales and marketing efforts and technical product support in the region, with an emphasis on continued growth in China over the next three to five years. The office will support all PSG operating companies and brands in the region—including Abaque, Almatec, Blackmer, Griswold, Maag, Mouvex, Neptune, Quattroflow, RedScrew and Wilden — with sales and tech-support teams dedicated to each operating company in order to more readily serve their specific distributors and channel partners.

The new office is located in a brand-new building complex on Sichuan Road, which is in the heart of one of Shanghai’s traditional commercial centers. The relocation to larger quarters was necessary because of the robust business growth that PSG has been experiencing in the region.

“The new commercial sales office in Shanghai is a testament to PSG’s commitment to this region, to our channel partners, and ambition to continued growth in the coming years,” said Dave Wang, PSG’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Asia-Pacific. “The addition of the Wilden Turbo-Flo AODD and Neptune mechanical diaphragm metering pumps to our product offering in the Chinese market has helped PSG grow its presence in certain key vertical markets such as chemical and water/wastewater.”

Much of PSG Shanghai’s recent sales growth has been driven by the opening in 2012 of its new manufacturing facility in the Shanghai suburb of Lingang. PSG’s new Commercial Sales Office in Shanghai, along with the Lingang manufacturing shows its commitment to growth in the Asia-Pacific region for many years to come.
