Parker Creates New Leadership Role and Appoints Officer

Parker Hannifin Corporation announced the creation of a new leadership role in the company of President - Europe, Middle East and Africa Group. Charly Saulnier has been selected to assume responsibility for this newly created position following his appointment as an officer by the company s Board of Directors.

Saulnier will have leadership responsibility for Parker s sales companies in the region, as well as coordination responsibility for functional groups such as information technology, human resources, finance, legal, and supply chain. Mr. Saulnier will be located at the company s new European headquarters in Etoy, Switzerland.

"As Parker s sales continue to grow internationally, it is important that we have senior regional leadership in place with the appropriate responsibility to meet customer needs and continue to achieve our growth targets," said Don Washkewicz, Chairman, CEO and President.

Saulnier has served as President of Sales Companies, Europe, Middle East and Africa, since January 2008. Throughout his 37 year career at the company, Saulnier has held a variety of increasingly responsible roles spanning engineering, operations management, sales and marketing, and division general manager roles.
