Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire Sykes Group Pty Ltd (Sykes) from Seven Group Holdings Ltd (SGH), a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Atlas Copco Power and Flow has launched a next-generation electric submersible dewatering pump, the WEDA D95, incorporating state-of-the-art Wear Deflector Technology. The robust and reliable pump delivers best-in-class performance over a longer lifetime in heavily abrasive environments such as mining, tunnelling and construction, and enables operators to improve their sustainability and productivity.

Atlas Copco has developed a new versatile range of electric surface self-priming dewatering pumps for a wide variety of applications. The E-Pump range consists of different models with a canopy and open set configuration. This flexible solution is ideally suited for many applications like sewage bypass, in the municipality sector and construction projects with access to a power source.

Sulzer pump specialists have helped global miner Anglo American overcome persistent reliability problems at an important iron ore project in Brazil. Since the switch to Sulzer’s range of advanced dewatering pumps, the site has experienced improved reliability and reduced spending on spare parts and maintenance.

Pakistani employees and KSB donate money for food, medicine, emergency relief supplies and infrastructure development. Water treatment plants and dewatering pumps are also on their way to the affected people. KSB has been present in Pakistan since 1953.

The UK’s largest independent hire company, GAP Hire Solutions, has established a specialist Pump Services division; and as part of the £18 million investment has selected pumps from Atlas Copco Power and Flow. Atlas Copco will provide 310 bespoke surface dewatering pumps of various sizes, including 4”, 6”, and 8” pumps.
