IFAT Eurasia 2021 postponed to October 21–23

How can construction processes be as climate-neutral as possible in the future? bauma 2025 provides answers to this question in one of its key topics. The world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment will be held in Munich from April 7 to 13, 2025.

The Turkish water authority Devlet Su İşleri (DSI) has selected international technology group ANDRITZ to supply the electro-mechanical equipment for the new 160 MW Silvan hydropower plant in Türkiye. The company will supply four 40 MW turbines, four generators, associated hydropower plant equipment, and a 154 kV switchyard system.

The Wilo Group can look back on a successful IFAT 2024. For five days, the multinational technology group presented its sustainable and future-proof water and sewage solutions to around 142,000 visitors from almost 170 countries and regions.

Climate change can only be successfully combated if a comprehensive circular economy can be established. The technologies required for this are available – a large number of mechanical engineering companies have been demonstrating this at the world’s leading trade fair IFAT Munich 2024 last week. However, a circular economy also requires the right political guidelines – and there is still a huge gap here.

IFAT Munich, taking place in the Munich exhibition halls from May 13 to 17, 2024, will feature top-class speakers, more international exhibitors, and a varied and exciting event program.

On the anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the ceremonial opening of two container schools took place in the Turkish province of Hatay. The Busch family, owners of Busch Vacuum Solutions, supported the project with a donation of 100,000 Euro.
