Compamedia has awarded the ‘Top Job’ seal of quality to small-to-medium enterprises in recognition of outstanding human resources programs since 2002. 103 companies participated in this year’s competition; nearly three-quarters are family-owned businesses. As part of the competition, the Institute for Leadership and Personnel Management at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, conducted a comprehensive employee survey that focused on job satisfaction, management quality and identification with the company and its products.

“We’re very pleased about the ‘Top Job’ award. The certificate cements our position as an attractive employer,” said Managing Director Dr Manfred Jagiella at the awards ceremony. “The award provides further motivation for our employees.” Endress+Hauser Conducta scored especially high in the ‘Employee Development & Perspective’ and ‘Culture & Communication’ categories. The benchmarking results will nevertheless be used to instigate further improvements in individual areas. “The analysis results are very insightful, particularly in relation to how we stack up against companies in our size class. We don’t intend to rest on our laurels however. Our efforts at attracting the best talent will continue,” added Manfred Jagiella.

Particular attention is paid to developing and sustaining management talent and the management culture.
