This meeting, the first since October 2024, was part of a series of visits to major corporations, industry associations, and academic institutions. The purpose was to pay courtesy calls and exchange information with Japanese companies based in Pennsylvania.

EBARA was selected for the visit because The Elliott Company, a core subsidiary of EBARA Energy Company, has its headquarters and flagship plant in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, and is actively committed to local employment and capital investment.

At the start of the day, EBARA CEO and COO Shugo Hosoda expressed his gratitude for the visit. Then, Takanobu Miyaki, President of the Energy Company, and Teruaki Tsukamoto, Division Executive of the CP Hydrogen & Aerospace Strategic Business Unit, explained: 1) the Energy Company's strategy and recent initiatives, 2) solutions for the steel industry, and 3) Pennsylvania's greenhouse gas reduction initiatives. Afterwards, there was an exchange of views on hydrogen-related projects in Pennsylvania. This meeting provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen collaboration.
