Christ Water Technology Wins Large Orders in Romania

... the Central Office of the Romanian Ministry of Finance against fierce international competition worth close to EUR 31mn. The projects were won thanks to sophisticated treatment technology involving a superior as well as cost-efficient and environmentally friendly technical solution and will be accounted for in the order intake 2005.

The drinking water plants are located in the cities of Satu, Brasov and Sibiu and will be co-financed by EU-funds. Currently, the population still suffers from insufficient water supply, both in terms of quantity and quality due to outdated treatment equipment.

Aqua Engineering will transform the facilities to state-of-the-art drinking water plants adding process units, automation and control systems, replacing the entire electrical and mechanical engineering without any interruption of operation. Upon project completion in two and a half years, best and pure drinking water complying with strict EU-regulation will be available for more than one million inhabitants.
