Changes in the Andritz Executive Board

Mark von Laer, who has been Chief Financial Officer of Andritz AG since March 1, 2017, will leave the company at the end of 2019. The Supervisory Board has appointed Norbert Nettesheim as his successor, effective as of December 1, 2019.

Norbert Nettesheim was born in 1962 and has a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne. He has extensive experience in project business and spent by far the greater part of his career in managerial positions with increasing responsibility at the Voith Group, including the position of commercial director in various group companies and most recently as head of Group Controlling, Accounting and Investments at Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA.

The positions of the other Executive Board members of Andritz AG remain unchanged.

Since July 15, 2024, Sunil Pandiri is part of the global Board of Management of Voith Hydro. As Chief Service Officer he will continue to strategically expand the company’s service portfolio. The role was newly created in order to meet the requirements of customers and their hydropower plants in the best possible way; making service a priority on top level.

ANDRITZ to Equip New Hydropower Plant in Turkey

The Turkish water authority Devlet Su İşleri (DSI) has selected international technology group ANDRITZ to supply the electro-mechanical equipment for the new 160 MW Silvan hydropower plant in Türkiye. The company will supply four 40 MW turbines, four generators, associated hydropower plant equipment, and a 154 kV switchyard system.
