In the gritty heart of mining sites, inside mineral processing facilities, and across sprawling wastewater treatment plants, a crucial yet often overlooked piece of equipment quietly powers productivity – the slurry pump. Though rarely the subject of flashy headlines, slurry pumps are the workhorses of many heavy-duty industries, transporting mixtures of liquid and solid particles that most other pumps simply can’t handle.

The Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer KSB once again presented record figures at its Annual General Meeting for the 2024 financial year.

Order intake and sales revenue as well as earnings before finance income / expense and income tax (EBIT), adjusted for the costs of introducing SAP S/4HANA, were up on the comparative quarter of the previous year.

At the end of February 2025, the KSB Group has launched the first size of its newly developed MultiTec Plus type series, size 150, on the market. These pumps have been specially developed for transporting drinking water, with optimum hydraulic efficiency being the focus.

The pump and valve manufacturer KSB is continuing its positive business development in the first nine months of 2024. The company increased the key performance indicators of order intake, sales revenue and earnings before finance income / expense and income tax (EBIT) compared with the prior-year period.

In September 2024, the KSB Group will be launching a new generation of submersible motor pumps on the market. The pumps of the type series called AmaRex Pro are driven by high-efficiency motors of the IE5 class.
