A complete line of new manual and automatic air vents designed to remove troublesome air in a variety of hydronic systems is available from Bell & Gossett.

Ranging from rugged high-capacity air vents for liquid systems to "compacted" air vents for new types of radiators, the new line includes:

107A - a rugged high-capacity air vent that purges free air from liquid systems. Features include:

  • Cast iron body and bonnet, non-ferrous internals
  • Maximum working pressure of 150 PSI
  • Maximun operating temperature of 250 degrees F

98 - a high-capacity automatic air vent that removes air in closed loop systems. Features include:

  • Brass body with non-ferrous internals
  • Maximum working pressure of 150 PSI
  • Maximum operating temperature of 250 degrees F

97 - a float type automatic air vent that vents troublesome air from hydronic heating systems. Features include:

  • Brass body with non-ferrous internals
  • Maximum working pressure of 150 PSI
  • Maximum operating temperature of 240 degrees F

87,67, and 7 - automatic air vents the accumulation of troublesome air wherever it can be trapped. Features include:

  • Brass body with non-ferrous internals
  • Maximum working pressure of 150 PSI, 35 PSI and 75 PSI respectively
  • Maximum operating temperature of 240 degrees F

17 Sr - automatic air valve is a deluxe, hygroscopic air valve with manual shut-off. Features include:

  • Stainless steel construction
  • Maximum working pressure of 30 PSI
  • Maximum operating temperature of 225 degrees F

4V - "coin-operated" air vent designed for the new types of radiators. Features include:

  • It projects only slightly, being almost flush with the radiator
  • Stainless steel construction
  • Maximum working pressure of 150 PSI
  • Maximum operating temperature of 250 degrees F
  • The air vents are available in 1/8", 1/2", and 3/4" connections.
