Sulzer adds Germany to its group of designated Top Employer 2024 countries, now including Brazil, China, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the USA. The Top Employers Institute surveys and independently audits companies seeking Top Employer recognition, rating them against the top international standard in several categories.

Aimed at ensuring and rewarding high employer standards, the Top Employers Institute audits and rates applicant companies in HR disciplines such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Learning, Wellbeing, Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion and more. Through sustained strong performance, particularly in employee engagement and development, and sustainability, Sulzer earned recertification for its existing five Top Employer country recipients, adding Germany to its list of recipients for 2024.

Executive Chairwoman Suzanne Thoma said, “These new designations recognize Sulzer’s commitment to its employees. Sulzer has signed an agreement with Highview Power to deliver eight molten salt pumps, five cryopumps and a selection of auxiliary services. The deal represents an engineering-led collaboration that will help unlock long-duration energy storage at Highview Power’s new facility at Carrington, Manchester, and at other future facilities across the UK. The Carrington project will be the first to deliver commercial-scale liquid air energy storage in the UK.
