DAB Pumps Awarded with the Red Hat EMEA Digital Leaders Award 2021

The award ceremony took place on Tuesday 16 November in Milan, in conjunction with the Red Hat Summit Connect 2021, the event that brings together open source experts to take stock of current trends, best practices and the latest technologies, in areas such as cloud, modernization IT, edge computing, big data, IoT and mobile. Bringing the voice and experience of DAB Pumps to the event was Luciano di Leonardo, Enterprise Architect of DAB Pumps, with a speech dedicated to the theme of Cloud Native.

Red Hat is the world's leading open source solution provider and in motivating the award, he points out that DAB Pumps has been able to build a very complex digital commercial cloud platform, which includes API Management, stream processing, database and data management, a modular blockchain architecture. DAB Pumps has also integrated these new cloud native technologies with its core business legacy application environments. The implementation allows DAB Pumps to manage customer profiles and activity, allowing to generate and manage sales orders in real time, thanks to a strong integration with the internal management system. All of this has made it easier for the IT organization to monitor processes with less effort, improving productivity and helping create greater business value. "A very ambitious project - explained the judges -, which showed attention to detail and allowed us to design a very sophisticated system". Thanks to this system, DAB Pumps now has the ability to operate more efficiently, to simplify the customer experience and to innovate faster.
