Baker Hughes Incorporated today announced that net income for the second quarter of 2005 was $218.8 million or $0.64 per diluted share, up 87% compared to $116.9 million or $0.35 per diluted share for the second quarter of 2004 and up 22% compared to $179.8 million or $0.53 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2005.
Suppliers of water and wastewater treatment products and services and suppliers of filtration products and services will achieve worldwide sales of $183 billion dollars in 2010 up from $122 billion in 2004. This is the forecast in the just released McIlvaine, Water, Wastewater, and Filtration: World Markets.
It is expected that the 18th Pollutec, to be held in Lyons (France) from 26th to 29th November 2002, will break all records for participation. Two months before it opens and despite two expansions in area of nearly 10,000 gross square metres, the show is virtually full and has exceeded the forecast of 5% growth compared with the 2000 show. There will be a total of 2,250 exhibitors.
