The Fluid Sealing Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Mahoney as President of the Association.

Atlas Copco, a leading supplier of sustainable productivity solutions, has appointed Helena Hedblom as President for the Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area, starting January 1, 2017. She is currently President of the Rock Drilling Tools division in the same business area. Helena Hedblom will be a member of Atlas Copco’s Group Management.

Beginning December 2016, Kristina Effler will assist marine customers navigating ballast water treatment alternatives as the new Global Business Manager for Alfa Laval PureBallast. Effler assumes the role just as the global shipping industry prepares for the implementation of the IMO BWM Convention’s entry into force in September 2017.

Andreas Schweitzer, head of Sales at Hermann Sewerin GmbH, has been appointed as chairman of the advisory committee of Wasser Berlin International and succeeds Jörn Winkels.

The new election of six employee representatives has changed the composition of the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft and its Committees. Kurt-Jürgen Löw was elected new Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board as successor to Reinhold Siegers, who had held this position since 1998 and did not stand for re-election on account of his plans to retire.

ABB announced that Timo Ihamuotila has been named Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee, effective April 1, 2017.

In line with the new “MOL Group 2030 – Enter Tomorrow” strategy, the Board of Directors – at its meeting held on the 13th October – approved the following organizational and personnel changes with the aim to better support the realization of the strategic goals.

Geert Follens is currently President of the Vacuum Solutions division in the Compressor Technique business area.

Flowserve Corporation announced that Mark Blinn plans to retire as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. To ensure an orderly transition, Mr. Blinn will remain in those roles until the appointment of his successor.
