The Gorman-Rupp Company Announces CFO Succession

The agreement, signed on 15 July 2024, formalizes the acquisition of the entire capital of Zenit International S.p.A., the holding company of Zenit Group, by Tsurumi Manufacturing co., LTD, a leading multinational company in the production and distribution of electric pumps based in Japan.

This technology has universally proven its worth in practice over the last two years: in foaming, aggressive, cloudy or transparent liquid media, the radar sensors are able to measure the levels very accurately and reliably.

De.mem, the international provider of decentralized water treatment systems and membrane technology, is coming up with the next acquisition. Following the recent transaction in which De.mem acquired the pump manufacturer Border Pumpworks, the Australian-headquartered company has now secured another acquisition candidate in the highly fragmented Australian market: Auswater Systems.

Three UK water utilities have agreed orders for the installation of a total of six conical settlement tanks from wastewater treatment specialist WCS Environmental Engineering (WCSEE). The equipment will be used in the primary and secondary stage of the wastewater treatment process.

ProMinent GmbH will focus on waste water and potable water treatment at IFAT. The company will spotlight what is known as the fourth cleaning stage and sludge dewatering, thereby emphasising its continued commitment to developing efficient and sustainable waste water treatment solutions.

The current EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive is more than 30 years old, and it has made dramatic improvements to the water quality in European rivers, lakes and seas. However, several pollution challenges remain and are not covered by the current legislation.
