Wasser Berlin International: Andreas Schweitzer Appointed New Chairman of the Advisory Committee
Andreas Schweitzer, head of Sales at Hermann Sewerin GmbH, has been appointed as chairman of the advisory committee of Wasser Berlin International and succeeds Jörn Winkels.
The CEO of Salzgitter Mannesmann Line Pipe GmbH had resigned his post as chairman for professional reasons. The committee thanked him for his long years of committed service.
“The new 360-degree concept at Wasser Berlin International worked very well. Placing exhibitors in individual halls to reflect their role in the water supply was an outstanding success“, said Andreas Schweitzer, looking back on the last event. “A substantial number of decision-makers attended the trade fair. WASsERLEBEN, the interactive show for the public, was a fascinating part of the event and once again was very impressive.“
“I hope that in 2017 Wasser Berlin International will attract even greater international attendance“, said Andreas Schweitzer. A number of large delegations, including from Iran, Jordan, Central America and Africa, have already announced their participation. In the chairman’s view the new Innovation Plaza, which is due to be debut at Wasser Berlin International 2017, will be a special highlight of the event. “I hope that many companies, especially startups, will take part.“ Schweitzer also praised the quality of the congress program, which form an integral part of the trade fair. Once again, the congress would be the outstanding event for the water industry, he added. “I am looking forward to the trade fair in 2017.“
