Pumpenfabrik Wangen appoints a new Managing Director and CEO: As of November 2, 2020, Claus Garnjost will lead the company based in Wangen, Germany. CEO Markus Hofheinz has left the company to pursue new professional opportunities.

After more than 25 years as head of the Institute of Hydraulic Fluidmachinery (Graz University of Technology), Helmut Jaberg retired at the end of the summer semester 2020 and is now professor emeritus.

Parker Hannifin announced that Catherine A. Suever, Executive Vice President – Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, will retire as part of her long-term plan after 33 years of dedicated service to the company.

Sweden-based BUMAX has a new Managing Director as of October 1st. Mr. Lars Holm has a strong background from the logistics, manufacturing, adhesive and tooling industries and will focus on increasing global sales of BUMAX top quality fasteners.

To help protect the health and safety of wastewater operators during the coronavirus pandemic and into the future, Xylem has provided foundational funding to the Water Environment Federation (WEF) to create the new position of Chief Medical Officer. The first scientist to fill the post is Dr. Andrew Sanderson of Howard University.
