With over 2,800 exhibitors from 56 countries, ACHEMA has opened today (10 June 2024) in Frankfurt. The most important event of the process industry worldwide shows equipment and processes for the chemical, pharma and food industry.

From June 10 to 14, 2024, the international process industry will come together once again at ACHEMA in Frankfurt am Main. Pfeiffer Vacuum will be presenting innovative vacuum solutions at the trade fair. This year, particular attention will be focused on vacuum generation in potentially explosive environments and on the evacuation of explosive gases.

The Wilo Group can look back on a successful IFAT 2024. For five days, the multinational technology group presented its sustainable and future-proof water and sewage solutions to around 142,000 visitors from almost 170 countries and regions.

Europump’s 2024 Annual Meeting and General Assembly was held at the prestigious De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor, delivering three days of fruitful meetings, discussions, and networking. Over 80 delegates from across the European pump industry attended the three-day event, which was hosted by the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association (BPMA) with the sponsorship and support of WEG – a provider of motor, drive, and asset management systems technology.

Legacy technologies reaching end-of-life, increasing investments in digitisation and automation, and the growing prevalence and sophistication of cybercrime are creating a melting pot of risk for utilities. CYBSEC-EXPO, a new exhibition and conference taking place at the end of May, is set to connect leaders from water, gas, and electricity networks with the knowledge and solutions to help keep their IT and OT systems safe.

Just over a month before ACHEMA 2024 opens on 10 June, one thing is already clear: with more than 60 percent of exhibitors coming from abroad, this year’s leading trade show for the global process industry will be the most international ACHEMA ever. Numerous side events from renowned partners await participants from 130 countries.

Leading industry representatives gathered at the Innovation Summit 2024 in Paris on 3 and 4 April, including several representatives from the Wilo Group. At the summit organised by French electrical engineering group Schneider Electric, attendees discussed sustainable innovations and their influence on the green transformation of companies under the motto “IMPACT”.

Europump (the European Pump Association) which represents 15 National Associations across the continent of Europe has now finalised the programme of talks and presentations for its 2024 Annual Meeting, which takes place in Windsor, UK from 22nd – 24th May.

The Pipeline & Gas Expo 2024, scheduled for 29th–31st May at Piacenza Expo in Italy, will connect industry players to build more efficient and resilient water and wastewater infrastructure, capable of addressing growing concerns about drought and cyberattacks.
