IFAT, which takes place from May 30 to June 3, 2016 at the Messe München exhibition center, is celebrating its 50th birthday. It started out back in 1966, as the “International Trade Fair for Sewage Technology”. Taking part in that premiere were 147 exhibitors from nine countries, and 10,200 visitors from 40 countries—and the exhibition space was 18,000 square meters.

The market not yet saturated, consumers around the world keep on thirsting for more water and beer. Drinks companies manage to create appetite for more by creating new beverages. There is no question about it, the market is moving stronger than ever before. In any case, pump manufacturers have the right products to keep drinks flowing in streams and make sure everyone’s thirst is quenched.

Fun and excitement—that´s the idea behind the new Active Learning Center at IFAT India, India´s leading trade fair for environmental technology. This year for the first time, there will be a special area dedicated to training, live demonstrations and skills contests, running for the entire period of the show.

In addition to the extensive supporting program taking place in the forums at IFAT, this year the show will also feature eight live demonstrations—four on water & sewage, and four on recycling & municipal technologies. IFAT 2016 takes place from May 30 to June 3 at the Messe München exhibition center.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) will host its 2016 Technical Meeting at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 27-30.

The countdown to the 10th AchemAsia is on: on 9 May, the doors to the most international of trade fairs in the process industry open in Beijing, China. Over 4 days, close to 300 exhibitors from 17 countries are presenting their products and technologies for apparatus and plant engineering, pharmaceutical and food process technologies, the chemical and petrochemical industry and laboratory and packaging technologies.
