From September 12 to 14, 2017, the Johannesburg Expo Centre will once again be the meeting point for the African environmental industry. IFAT Africa, the Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling, being held for the second time, has gained more international appeal: Around 65 percent of the exhibitors are from abroad.

The organisation is moving up into high gear for the 41st edition of MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort – the world’s leading biennial exhibition dedicated to residential and industrial installations, air-conditioning and renewable energy, enlivening the halls of Fiera Milano from 13th – 16th March 2018.

Pump Summit Düsseldorf, the international network meeting for pump specialists, will take place with an extended concept and in a new location – in Hall 5 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 27 to 29 November 2018.

Company will co-convene two workshops and continue its long-standing sponsorship of the Stockholm Water Prize and Stockholm Junior Water Prize.

Some 9 months before the start there are unmistakable signs that ACHEMA 2018 will be a crowd-puller. More than 2700 exhibitors from all around the globe have already booked a stand at this leading show for the process industries in Frankfurt am Main.

The independent pump training courses, which the BPMA have been successfully running since the mid 1990’s, have helped equip many hundreds of individuals with the knowledge and skills required to assist pump companies to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Recently the Bitzer International Refrigeration Seminar (IRS) Symposium took place at the Schaufler Academy in Rottenburg, near Stuttgart, Germany. Professor Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, former director of the UNO centre for science and technology, gave a lecture about energy efficiency and the use of resources.

In September 2017, the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai will once again be the venue for environmental technologies and solutions tailored specifically to the needs of the Indian market.

Melanie Winter has taken over as project manager of Wasser Berlin International. With over seven years of trade fair experience Melanie Winter, who was born in Berlin, had previously occupied a number of positions at Messe Berlin and in July 2014 joined the project management of Wasser Berlin International.

Setting an example for climate change – that is the goal of the reforestation project of the environmental technology trade fair IFAT Eurasia. A total of 4,000 trees have been planted in the Balıkesir province, in western Turkey, since February 2017. The IFAT Eurasia Memorial Forest covers an area of 4.5 hectares.
