Franklin Electric Co., Inc. announced its second quarter financial results for fiscal year 2023. Second quarter 2023 net sales were $569.1 million, compared to second quarter 2022 net sales of $551.1 million. Second quarter 2023 operating income was $80.9 million, compared to second quarter 2022 operating income of $81.0 million. Second quarter 2023 EPS was $1.27, versus EPS in the second quarter 2022 of $1.26.

In the first half of this year, GF’s business continued to perform well, despite heavy currency headwinds and geopolitical tensions. Sales of sustainable products and solutions, underpinned by long-term megatrends such as urbanization, energy efficiency and high demand for clean drinking water, continue to sustain performance and profitability.

EBARA Pumps Europe S.p.A. (EPE), a group company of EBARA CORPORATION (EBARA), has reached an agreement with SKF Lubrication Systems Germany GmbH (SKF), a subsidiary of SKF Group, regarding the transfer of SKF’s coolant pump (Spandau Pumpen) business. The agreement was signed on July 11th, 2023.

Franklin Electric announced that Donald Kenney, Vice President and President, Global Water, will be retiring after 25 years with the company. Kenney was a driving force behind the company’s Global Water growth and strategy over the last decade, and he will remain with the company through the end of July to ensure a smooth transition to his successor, Greg Levine.
