Netzsch Pumps North America, LLC (Exton, PA) has expanded its sales force by hiring Brian Johnson as the Regional Sales Manager for the Central Region.

The two Danish pump companies will gather production and sales activities from November 1, 2017.

Endress+Hauser is further expanding its portfolio of products, solutions and services in the field of process analytical measurement. The Group has acquired Blue Ocean Nova AG, a manufacturer of innovative inline spectrometers for monitoring quality-relevant process parameters. The company’s 15 employees located in Aalen, Germany will be retained.

Atlas Copco has been commended by the Peruvian Government for helping communities recover from the devastating floods caused by the ‘Fenómeno del Niño’ storm. The Ministry of Labour of Peru recognised Atlas Copco’s efforts in the northern city of Piura at an awards ceremony for companies that provided immediate assistance in the wake of the natural disaster. The award grants Atlas Copco the distinctive denomination of S.O.S Company in Peru.

In the first nine months of 2017, currency-adjusted order intake increased by 15.3%, of which 3.7% was organic and 11.6% came from acquisitions. In the third quarter, Sulzer booked CHF 790 million in orders, an organic increase of 7.5% year on year, based on some larger orders and a low base in the previous year. Sulzer is updating its guidance for order intake for the full year and now expects order intake to grow by 10 to 12%.
