The Hydraulic Institute named Randy Bennett, Vice President of Technology & Operations, Leistritz Advanced Technologies Corporation, as its 2013 Member of the Year. The award was conferred to Mr. Bennett at the Hydraulic Institute’s 2014 annual meeting held recently in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Orange County Water District (OCWD) in California, USA, has been awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize 2014 for its pioneering work in groundwater management and water reclamation using advanced water reuse technologies, as well as its achievements in public policy and community outreach.

Emerson Climate Technologies’ Next Generation Copeland Scroll variable speed compressor line was honored as the 2014 AHR Expo Product of the Year during the Innovation Award Ceremonies on January 22 at AHR Expo in New York City.

Hermetic-Pumpen GmbH, located in the Black Forest town of Gundelfingen near Freiburg, was recognised with the “Russian oil and gas industries’ best centrifugal-pump manufacturer for 2013” award during the NefteGasPererabotka conference for Russian refineries. The award was presented recently in Moscow and is the result of an independent survey involving 60 Russian refineries.

Xylem Inc. has been announced as the winner of the medium business category in the El Espectador Sustainable Awards sponsored by BBVA bank in Colombia. More than 1,800 companies entered the competition, which recognizes companies that implement policies of social responsibility, sustainability and high entrepreneurial standards as part of their daily operations.

On 11 November 2013, the Frankenthal-based pumps and valves manufacturer received the RWE Supplier Award in the category “Quality Global”. The award ceremony took place as part of the sixth RWE Supplier Conference at the congress centre in Essen with around 800 guests present.

International Exposition Company (IEC), the organization that produces and manages the AHR Expo, was recently honored by the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) with its prestigious 2013 Public Service Award.
