Xylem Inc. reports third-quarter results. The Company’s total revenue was $2.1 billion, up one percent on a reported and organic basis, and third-quarter earnings per share were up 41 percent on a reported basis and 12 percent on an adjusted basis. Orders grew 8 percent on a reported and organic basis.

To upgrade an aeration tank at a major wastewater treatment plant in Toulouse, France, the plant required a bypass solution that could efficiently reroute 10,000 cubic meters of water per hour. The local water utility, Eau de Toulouse Métropole, partnered with Xylem’s rental team to install a customized bypass solution that not only operated without fail but also saved energy.
